2021 Ford F150 Lariat Dead Battery in 1 month

I Just had my truck go into a deep sleep while sitting in my garage for 4 days. I don't know who to catch so-called ford assistance (from APP) for a jump start.
Anyone else experienced any BATTERY issues, pl share what you did to get it resolved (except Jump start), like got a new battery etc (which battery)

I had mine go dead after sitting for about a week. I put my battery charger on it and it showed that the battery was just barely over 4 volts. It took a couple hours for the battery to charge up enough to start (I had it on a slow charge). When I did get it started I had no power steering and gave a warning "steering assist fault service required". I brought it in to the dealer (hard to steer) and they were very helpful. They told me there is a TSB for the battery drain but said it took a complete computer reflash that would take a couple hours. They sent me home with a nice 21' Explorer ST. Then the next day they said they were having issues with the update on the Ford Pass and had to work with the Ford engineers to get it figured out. It took 2 more days for them to get it figured out with their mechanics and the Ford engineers learning what to do with my truck. I asked them to test the battery and they said it tested as good. I haven't had the issue since and I have had it sit for a week one other time since.

I haven't experienced any issues so far. @Jeep Shadow was the solution the computer reflash? or did they do something else to your truck?

@maninder have you gotten your F-150 looked at yet?
@Jeep Shadow can you share the details of that TSB here?

Welcome @maninder.

What year and trim F-150 do you own?

Did you contact your dealer about it yet?
A good first step is to get your battery tested by them to see what its health is like and if it needs to be replaced (I think this is likely).

I honestly don't know what all that they did. I got my truck - 21' XLT Sport supercab - early March and had it less than a month when I got the dead battery. It had cranked over a little slow a couple times before that.

My only other issue is that the Ford Pass doesn't always communicate with the truck. It seems to work more often after they reflashed it, but still hasn't worked a couple times for me.

I looked at the paperwork and it doesn't show a TSB#. It says "Ran Oasis and found a SSM 49530. Performed the TSB and verified the vehicle had power assist back."

The TSB that I mentioned is on the line talking about the steering assist. So now I am not sure if the reflash had to do with the steering or the charging.
?

Yeah it can really temperamental at times, it's really weird.

check out post by Lancer3 --- worked for me. Thank you so much to Lancer3!! I have a new 2021 F150 for 3 wks, 2245miles on it. Just drove from Wyoming to LA for a funeral. No problems during trips. This morning came out - vehicle totally dead. Wouldn't respond to key fob had to enter with the mechanical key in the fob. Again totally dead, no response to anything. I put on a battery charger, showed battery 100% ok, slowly got some response on dash lights/screen but no response to starting. Called the emergency # for Ford, talked person who was to send tow truck, 4 hrs later nothing, attempted to call service dept at local Ford, voice mail and that too was filled - no body available apparently cause approaching labor day weekend. While waiting, came across your post and thought skeptically worth a try. Guess what it worked, everything ok except get a message to "turn off the ignition or start engine..". However ignition is off. So my dilemma is do I dare take into the traffic and drive back to Wyoming? Ford has had these problems but apparently won't tell us why. My local Wyoming Dealer service department that at least answered the phone - no idea and researching problem. Again thank you.

Followup to above. After running for an hour, the message which suggested that battery had discharged "turn off the ignition or start engine" went away. I drove it around locally all ran ok, shut it down all ok, we are now into Labor Day weekend so no one available to check, so took a chance drove freeways cautiously, all ok, then drove about 1000 miles back to Wyoming. I have an appointment at local Ford Dealer. I also ordered a Audew 2000 battery booster after reading multiple review (about $85) - direct from company - AND will keep it inside under the back seat since the Tailgate will NOT open since no mechanical release. Ford: we need a way to open the tailgate when battery dead!!!!
Followup #2: 2021 F150 has an AGM battery - should have "absorption voltage of 14.2-14.9" and "Float voltage of 13.2-13.8". Mine over the last 7 days average 11.81v cold and only 12.95v running and local Ford dealer tested & bad battery to be replaced in AM. Will continue to follow battery voltage and see if this solves the problem. These trucks sitting for months in Ford parking lots awaiting chips cannot be good for batteries. (Otherwise love this 2021 F150 and it is a dream to drive long distances.)
Followup #3: 2021 F150, New AGM battery 9/16/21, average am cold voltage averaging 12.5v but this am temp outside 32 F, cold voltage 11.98v ( cold1999 suburban 4 y/o battery 12.11v), running 13.76v but interestingly shut off the steering wheel and seat heat and jumped to 14.82v. Anyone know where to get/install voltage-charging monitor like we had in vehicles in years past???? This vehicle needs such a monitor.
