It turns out that the next-gen Ford F-150 Raptor will in fact be getting Ford’s 5.2L Predator V8, the same engine that’s currently found in the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 according to a new report from Ford Authority.

About this time last year they published an exclusive on the upcoming V8 Raptor.

The next-gen Ford Raptor will get the Mustang Shelby GT500's 5.2L Predator V8 with slightly less power, but it'll be enough to beat the new Ram TRX.

What if the new Raptor gets this massive new 6.8L engine that Ford's developing?

A 6.8L V8 could be coming for the F-150!

Reports are coming out that the Mustang and F-150 could be getting brand new 6.8L V8's!! It's apparently the result of the negotiations between Ford and Canadian union Unifor for the Windsor Engine Plant. Maybe it's going to be similar to the 7.3L Godzilla engine...
