Ford Camo Lighting Patent

Ford recently filed an interesting patent application for integrating lights (tail lights, turn signals) into camouflage body panels that go over the lights of their prototype vehicles.

This will allow Ford to use full panels that completely cover and obscure the shape of test cars from the public and from spy photographers while still having street legal lighting. This could mean that when we see spy photos, the lights won't be the same as the production model.
