To me, the best configuration will be the Pro model with the extended range battery (the home backup is a major plus). BUT!!!!! It is not available to anyone outside of fleet customers. This a slap to the face and a deal-breaker for me. Instead, I will have to spend 60K+ to get the only feature that I care about. No thanks!! All cost savings going EV are long gone at that point. Getting a Pro with ext battery for 50K plus tax incentives made it palatable. I really hate modern luxury yacht trucks. I will be better served waiting until there is more competition in this space.

I don't feel as strongly as you do on the subject, but I do agree. I was hoping to buy the base model and get that extended range.
