I have a 2021 stx f150 with just under 4700 miles. It’s been in for dealer for equal time of me owning it for vary hard shifting and harsh clunking from rear end when coming to a stop. They have replaced valve body’s and done multiple resets of shift table. Still no fix. Just feels like even more of a piece of crap 50k$ truck. Looking for help to see if anyone has had similar issues.

Damn - I've heard guys with 3.5 ecoboost talking about similar issues - first I've heard anything about a 5.0 . I ordered a 21 XLT with the 2.7 - took 6 months to get . Drove it for 3 months - and motor went . Waiting on parts for new motor they installed to come in . Never had any issues with the 150's I bought before this one . I decided to order a 22 with 5.0 . This could get interesting . I'll ask around about the issue you're having with yours .

Had same problem on my 2018 F-150 Lariat w/10-speed automatic. There is a Ford TSB (tech service bulletin) out to address the harsh shifting problems. My service advisor had his guys make the adjustment (it's a software upgrade) and my transmission only very rarely gives a clunk anymore. I don't believe they had to swap out any valve bodies or other hardware.

Sorry to hear that you're having issues with your 2021 STX F150. It's frustrating when a new vehicle doesn't perform as expected, especially after spending a lot of money on it. It sounds like the dealer has been trying to diagnose and fix the issue, but without success so far. It may be helpful to check with other owners of the same model and see if they have experienced similar issues, as they may have some advice or insights on how to resolve the problem. You could also try contacting Ford directly and explaining the situation to see if they can offer any assistance or advice.
