Why can't (don't) dealerships figure out payload on new trucks? I just traded in my 2020 RAM 1500 because of its puny payload (1097). Dealer assured me a f150 3.5 hybrid has a 1800 max payload. I know that more options bring the payload down, and I asked if that 1800 is with the options we want, and was assured yes. Picked up my new truck today, and the sticker on the door jamb lists payload at 1344. I am beyond frustrated. Do the dealerships just not know? Or don't care? There has to be a way to get a close payload estimate when you order a new truck.?.
