2018 F-150 Lariat, Super Crew Cab. 2 of the 3 rear window defroster quit working recently, and they're not covered under my Ford Extended Warranty Plan. I took it to my dealer here in VA and the mechanics "diagnosed" it as requiring replacement of both windows! Now, I've never stacked anything up in the back seat that would have contacted the defroster grids, and there are no broken wires visible. The fact two of the window defrosters quit at the same time leads me to believe it's a wiring connection problem, not something requiring window replacement. Fortunately the dealership agreed to cover it, but it still seems like overkill to me. Has anyone else had experience with rear defroster failure, and how did you fix it? Thanks for sharing your experience/mechanical know-how for this system.
