I was looking into rustproofing and undercoating options for the 2021 F-150 and realized that the body won't rust. Its made out of aluminum. However, corrosion can happen to the body over time. Also, some other things may be made out of metals that can rust but won't be much of a concern. There's an endless amount of 13th gen F-150 owners that report no problems.
Knowing this, MANY people still get rustproofing, undercoating and corrosion protection. I used to (religiously) through the dealer and might do it here as a precaution. This time around I'm open to going with independent shops with expertise and a wider range of products.
Is anyone here planning to? If so, how exactly are you going about it?
