TPMS learn for wheel swap

4482 Views 5 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  Tim Founder
Just got my 3.5EB XLT. Was looking to swap wheels & tires for some other original Ford rims & started looking into Tpms relearn, thought maybe Forscan would deal with it but just seen that might not work for anything on the 21s.

Anyone got any other options for how a tire shop or dealer might achieve this. I have a device from last Chev that was used on each tire when programming Tpms to the truck, don't know if anything similar is done with the Ford.

Would love to know if Forscan is definitely no good as I just ordered the obd link.

Thanks very much, still trawling through the manual, not as easy without a paper copy.
Much appreciated.

after a bit more googling there seem to be mixed reports of whether forscan works for people or not so I guess I'll give it a try as there are other things I'd like to tweak as well as tire size.

What other Ford rims are you planning to install on your F-150?
Was looking at some 20s with 275 60 to give a bit more diameter but might rethink that after seeing the difference in tire price.
