Utility Idle is a feature in the 2021+ Ford F-150 that allows the engine to run without removing the key.
From the owner's manual:
WHAT IS UTILITY IDLE MODE - VEHICLES WITH: FLIP KEY
Utility Idle mode allows you to remove the key from the ignition and keep the vehicle and bed power point running.

Switching Utility Idle On
Use the controls on the touchscreen to switch off the vehicle.

Switching Utility Idle On
- Start the vehicle. See Starting and Stopping the Engine.
- Press the Features button on the touchscreen.
- Press the Pro Power Onboard button.
- Press the Generator Mode button to switch the power outlet to the rating listed on the power outlet label.
- Press the Utility Idle button.
- Turn the key to position 0.
- Remove the key from the ignition.
- Insert the key into the ignition.
- Turn the key to position III.
Use the controls on the touchscreen to switch off the vehicle.
